2017 was quite the interesting year for women across the board. It certainly wasn’t an easy one but of course, it never is. That doesn’t mean we didn’t take a few steps in the right direction over the last few months. We had Rose McGowan help start a movement shining a light on the disgusting nature surrounding powerful men in Hollywood. And, we’re actually beginning to see some of these men have to deal with the consequences of their own actions. How strange! Taylor Swift won a countersuit against radio DJ David Mueller for $1 for groping her during a meet and greet back in 2013. Swift wasn’t concerned about the money, obviously. She was focused on highlighting how common sexual assault really is.
