7. Lisa, 27-years-old.
I’m lactose intolerant. Like, seriously bad. Some things work for me, others don’t. So, it’s hard to really say what will hurt me. I try to stay away from milk and all that – but I love cheese, who doesn’t. I was going to dinner with a guy and he wanted to eat Mexican food. Usually, I love Mexican food – I eat it all the time. This time, I didn’t realize that the dish I ordered was completely covered in melted cheese, I guess I didn’t read the full description. Instead of making a scene, I ate it. Of course, it was delicious. But, on the car ride home, my stomach was already bubbling. I thought I had to go to the bathroom ASAP, but, tried my best to play it cool. We were at a red light and I ripped the loudest fart I’ve ever heard come out of my body. The guy looked at me in awe. I wanted to crawl into a hole and die.
8. Penny, 19-years-old.
I was going out with a guy who never asked how old I was. I knew he was a few years older than me, so I didn’t think he’d mind if I was 19. He took me to a bar and I had to use my fake ID to get in. I was denied at the door and the guy looked at me confused, I guess he thought I was older. It was so embarrassing, we went to get coffee instead of beers. It was awkward the entire time. He never called me again.
9. Francesca, 22-years-old.
My parents are really old school Italian and my father still thinks that guys have to come to my door and greet him and my mom before taking me on a date. I usually don’t tell them when I’m going on a date because I’m not trying to deal with an entire production, especially if I don’t even hit it off with the guy. One night, this guy I met in my French class in college was picking me up and my dad pulled in the driveway the moment I was leaving my house with the guy. I accidentally left the living room light on, but, I told the guy to speed away before my father tried to speak to him. He called 9-1-1 and reported that someone had robbed our house, reported the guy’s license plate and the police came to speak to us at the restaurant we were at.
