Restaurant Owner Ruined Her Entire Career After She Spiked A Vegan’s Meal

For obvious reasons, the post was quickly deleted, but there is no shock that there was a massive backlash after the post began to gain popularity. You don’t have to be a vegan to be appalled by this type of behavior this isn’t a vegan vs. meat eaters issue. This is just shocking that someone would serve food to someone who specifically asked not to have that type of food. This was done as a malicious attack because she felt overwhelmed and annoyed someone came to her restaurant and irritated her for some reason or another. Just imagine how long she’s been sabotaging people’s food if she feels comfortable just posting it on Facebook. Before Goodman could delete the post a few people shared their disgust and disbelief with her.

“I hope you didn’t do anything on purpose to make her meal non-vegan. If so that is disgusting and so out of order, I would be furious with anybody that did that.”

“it would be the same if someone of a religious background came in and she spiked their food with prohibited substances,”

“I am sure you would agree prohibited is prohibited regardless of the reasoning behind it.”

These are all extremely reasonable and valid points to make about spiking someones food with unwanted substances. There is a reason being a chef is a pretty prestigious occupation. It’s because you have a responsibility you know to not be potentially poisoning your paying customers. It doesn’t get much better for Mrs. Goodman as she took to Facebook and tried to defend her egregious actions. She began to explain how the vegan customer had grown on her nerves over time.

“started with asking me to telephone them, over Christmas, to discuss the dietary requirements of their guests within a set time frame.”

Many people were quick to point out that Goodman was so far in the wrong that it’s surprising no legal actions had been taken against her. I’m not sure if the customer ever found out about Goodman’s heinous decision. I hope they do and I hope they take her restaurant and turn into a full-blown vegan eatery. Not because I’m vegan of any sorts just because I’m a big fan of karma. Three days after the moronic post was put up on Facebook the Carlini restaurant shared that. “Laura Goodman has today tendered her resignation from Carlini.”

Don’t post evil acts on Facebook.

Laura has attempted to flip the situation to the old woe is me song and dance. She now claims she never even spiked anyone’s food. She says that she’s too scared to leave the house due to the backlash. Wait, is someone not happy dealing with the consequences of their actions? How strange? I wonder if losing her job was worth the few minutes it would have taken to take a deep breathe and prepare the meal that was ordered. I guess we’ll never know, let this be a lesson for anyone who plans on making a rash decision out of frustration. A bit of advice if you’re still going to go through with the said rash decision then definitely don’t post it on Facebook!
