Alicia Keys originally planned to play the convict in her “Fallin'” video but was forced to play the long-suffering girlfriend because label executives didn’t want her first appearance on television to be behind bars.
12.”Hollaback Girl” – Gwen Stefani
In the beginning of the video, Stefani says, “Get in really close. Aww, super kawaii” as she takes a quick picture of her dancers. “Kawaii” is a Japanese word for “cute.” The ‘Banana’ singer is a huge fan of alternative Japanese popular culture, so she thought it would be an awesome touch to the video.
Also, the song was written in response to a comment Courtney Love made in an interview, dismissing the No Doubt frontwoman as a “cheerleader” – she heard that you were talking sh*t & you didn’t think MISS GWEN F*CKIN STEFANI wouldn’t hear it?!
13.”Ooops!… I Did It Again” – Britney Spears
While shooting a scene for the video, Britney was seriously hurt after a camera fell on top of her, leaving her with four stitches. Ouch. Coincidentally, the sexy man in that astronaut suit became a trauma surgeon after the video.

The wedding dress Mariah Carey wears in the “We Belong Together” music video is the same one she wore during her 1993 wedding to Tommy Mottola. UHM HELLO? We need answers.
15. “Milkshake” – Kelis
The video was shot in a Brooklyn diner called Relish (now called The Corner Store Now) and Nas ( her then-husband, now EX) is featured as one of the cooks. Also, Kelis doesn’t really like milkshakes – she never thought they were good.
