You may know her from the Hunger Games films, the X-Men films, and from dudes sharing their opinions about her without ever being asked. She’s the star of the upcoming Darren Aronofsky thriller Mother! where she plays a woman who’s husband keeps welcoming uninvited guests into their home.
The trailer and early reviews make it seem like the film is going to be pretty disturbing and intense, and filming it was apparently a pretty tough experience for Lawrence. An experience she got through by — and this is true — watching loads and loads of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
That’s right. In an interview with Vogue, the actress revealed that she actually had a tent on set with episodes of the show playing on loop, and pictures of the cast in frames.
I had to go to a darker place than I’ve ever been in my life. I didn’t know if I’d be able to come out OK. I had a tent that had pictures of the Kardashians and Keeping Up With The Kardashians playing on a loop. And gumballs. My happy place.
Needless to say, Kim Kardashian was psyched, and posted these captioned pictures on her Instagram story:
