Throughout our life, we’re going to meet dozens of people who impact us–both for better and for the worse. While we can’t always see red flags when they’re waving right in front of our eyes, there are common traits that individuals have that show they are toxic to keep around. While society will tell you that being “selfish” is an unattractive quality, there are moments when you do need to stop and put yourself first. If a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend, or acquaintance is toxic for your growth and your individual life, it’s best to keep them at a distance and move on. If you’re truly unsure whether or not people in your life are toxic for your growth, the people of Reddit have come together to share some common qualities individuals have, but sometimes go unnoticed.
