#SimplyComplicated premieres on @YouTube tomorrow at 10am PT!!! Can’t wait to share this with you guys ❤️

Demi admitted to a lot of things that many probably didn’t really know about her. She’s always been open about her life, but, she was completely raw and transparent in the documentary, letting everyone know the real, true story of her life. She began using cocaine at 17-years-old and from there, continued her drug use well into her 20’s. She also opened up about her childhood and her father’s addiction, which she contributed a lot of her own addiction problems to.

Much like many other young girls, Demi experienced a lot of bullying and self-image issues. One girl in her school even created a “suicide petition” against Demi and made other students sign it. It sounded so traumatizing and awful, and, I realized Demi’s opening up about her bullying and even drug struggles was something many of her fans can probably relate to.

After the documentary aired online, a lot of fans were thanking Demi for her transparency and honesty on Twitter.

Even other celebrities commented on the documentary.

Like, Ellen DeGeneres.

And, her childhood best friend Selena Gomez shared the love.
