7. Not everyone “finishes” in sync.
In movies, they make it seem like every big finish is coordinated and in sync with your partner. But, in reality, sometimes one of you won’t finish. It’s rare that you and your partner will get off at the same time, so don’t think all sex is a big ol’ failure if it doesn’t happen that way.
8. “Makeup sex” doesn’t always happen.
Movies always show you that the best way to solve your problems is to have sex to “get along again.” It’s not always the case in real life. Most of the time, you won’t be ready to make love to your partner right after a big blow out. In fact, you’re going to want to get as far away from them as possible.
9. It is never perfect.
Sex in movies are always perfect – unless it’s “casted” and “written” to look awkward (like people losing their virginity, or young teens), but, any “big romance movies” have it looking like it’s the best moment in any world you can ever imagine. Hate to break it to you – it’s never going to be perfect. But hey, life’s not perfect, folks.
