Rapper Cardi B Just Dethroned Taylor Swift & Made History, Obviously Twitter Can’t Get Enough

Look What You Made Her Do

The entire New York Tri-State is probably hollering out “YERRR” right at this moment by honoring Cardi B’s biggest bloody move yet – hitting #1 on Billboard’s ‘Hot 100’ and becoming the FIRST FEMALE RAPPER to rule without any other billed acts in over 20 years with her hit “Bodak Yellow.”

The former “Love&Hip-Hop” star made history yesterday by knocking off Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do” from the Number 1 spot on the Top Billboard Hot 100. She is the first female rapper to do history like this since Lauryn Hill’s ‘Doo-Wop’ in 1998. If you haven’t heard the money move single yet, you’ve been living under a rock, but let me share the video because it deserves a re-post.

Her fans, or #BardiGang, have shown her an immense amount of support to help the ‘B’ reach #1 in the charts by re-posting and promoting her music back to back throughout all social media platforms and when she received her first message that she had topped Queen Swift, she was ECSTATIC.

However, when the news broke out to everyone else, the internet broke and gave Cardi B the standing ovation she well deserved.

But, not only fans congratulated Cardi on her newfound success – fellow artists took to Twitter to share the love.
