Twitter is a social media platform that is always giving us great content and great laughs. People are constantly commenting on current events and social news stories with memes, GIFs and sassy comebacks that we can’t help but scroll through it for hours. But, sometimes, Twitter is used as a powerful tool for change and awareness.
Recently, a hashtag went viral online that showcased the very harsh realities of emotional abuse within relationships. #MaybeHeDoesntHitYou shows that just because someone doesn’t physically harm you, doesn’t mean they are not toxic and abusive in a relationship.
