Some people eat when they’re depressed. And some people can’t stomach food when they’re not feeling their best. Britney Spears is no exception. The pop star, who has become Queen of Q’tine thanks to her candid and humorous posts on social media, recently posted a picture of herself in some loose clothing, bemoaning the fact that she’s lost weight because she misses her boyfriend.
“I have been quarantining since I got back from Louisiana weeks ago…So basically I haven’t seen my boyfriend @samasghari in what feels like a lifetime!!!!” Spears explained in the caption. “I have actually lost weight from missing him… now none of my pants or shorts fit.”
“Guess that’s what missing someone can do…who else is experiencing this????!”
The 38-year-old singer has been dating model and fitness trainer Sam Ashghari since 2016—and he seems super supportive of her.
While a lot of folks couldn’t relate to losing weight in quarantine, they could understand that missing someone could cause Spears to lose her appetite.
Spears also recently made headlines for another fitness-related incident: she literally burned down her home exercise studio.
“It was an accident…but yes…I burnt it down,” Spears wrote. “I walked past the door to the gym and flames…By the Grace of God the alarm went off after that and yippy hoorah nobody got hurt. Unfortunately, now I have only two pieces of equipment left lol and a one-sided mirror gym.”
Apparently, this happened six months ago, as Spears explained on Instagram that she hadn’t been in her gym for that amount of time because of the effects of the fire.
Spears said she had left two candles lit, which caused the blaze.
“I like working out better outside anyways,” Spears said, and I can imagine her casually shrugging because a burnt gym is maybe one of the least upsetting things that’s happened to the pop star.
Maybe this will let Britney Spears concentrate on art.
