Any advice on how men can do similar without also coming across as creepy/invasive? My go to is a 'dude back off you have been told shes not interested' but it can cause people to get aggro which could be a problem later in the night..

I want to start a movement called, "How's Mary?" because everyone knows a Mary. Stumbling home after a night out, girl's bf screaming at her, she's crying. "Ach, how are ya? How's Mary?" and pressed a fiver into her hand for taxi.

I hate that guys can't get the definition of "no."

I love when people are kind like this.
I once was sitting in a bus station late at night and one of the male off duty bus drivers chilled with me out side in the cold. He was 20 feet away from me but stayed so I would be safe.

After the first refusal, if he persists it's time to DROP being polite. You aren't required to be polite to creepers or fear being thought rude. Be firm, be loud for all around to hear. Look him in the eye & say 'I SAID NO.' Then stop-don't say anything else. And don't apologize!

"your bf doesn't let you have friends?" "in fact he totally lets me but I don't want you as a friend"
