The 14 Biggest Kardashian And Jenner Scandals Of 2017

4. Blac Chyna Sues The Entire Kardashian/Jenner Family:

After the nude scandal went quiet, Blac Chyna and her lawyer hit the entire family with a lawsuit. After Rob and Chyna broke up for good, their TV show on E! was obviously canceled. You can’t really have a TV show about a couple that is no longer together or doesn’t plan on getting back together. While the contract was terminated, Chyna claims she lost over a million dollars from the network’s decision to cancel the show. As well, the Kardashians made sure Chyna wouldn’t be able to profit off of having a “Kardashian baby” and hit her with a lawsuit that claimed she “could not use the Kardashian name for any endorsement deals or monetary gain.

Chyna’s lawyer Lisa Bloom told Us Weekly:

It’s not just she lost a lot of income by not getting season two or all the other seasons that would’ve followed, it’s the endorsement deals, it’s the appearances fees, promotion of her products … This is how reality shows can become very lucrative, and the Kardashian family knows well because they have exploited the economic benefits of reality TV better than anyone … and God bless them for it.

5. Khloé Kardashian Accused of Stealing Designs:

In 2017, Khloé Kardashian’s denim brand “Good American” took off with sales through the roof. While the brand had much success, there was drama surrounding bodysuits being sold by the company. An independent designer, Destiney Bleu, called the company out on Twitter.

After the tweets took social media by storm, the company issued this statement:

“Under no circumstances did Good American or Khloé Kardashian infringe on another brand’s intellectual property and we are going through the proper legal channels to handle the situation.”

As well, the company let the public know the bodysuits were taken from celebrity inspiration, such as Britney Spears and Cher. They even posted this photo on the company’s Instagram page with a pretty passive-aggressive caption.

But, Bleu was angry and hired a lawyer for the lawsuit, stating Khloé’s then-stylist, Monica Rose, asked to borrow several bodysuits from her collection for Khloé, then requesting to purchase them in late 2016. However, Khloé’s lawyer shot back that the bodysuits looked nothing like Bleu’s products and the Good American versions were completely different. You can read all the statements here.
