6. Breathe.
It is very important to incorporate breathing into your yoga routines. It is all about finding healthier mind and body. Breathing helps with reducing stress and is the perfect combo when doing yoga. Breathe throughout your whole body and just relax.
7. Wear comfortable clothes.
Since your whole body will be twisting and turning in all different ways you want to make sure you are wearing something comfortable and lose and not tight. Nobody wants to workout in tight clothes and feel uncomfortable.
8. Don’t compare yourself to others.
Remember we are all different! We all start out at differently and learn in different ways. Focus on your own progress rather than others.
9. Be aware of the space around you.
If you are attending classes make sure you are aware of your surroundings. You don’t want to be doing a pose and accidentally kick someone in the face when doing a pose.
10. Savor each moment.
Savor each minute you have while doing yoga and clear your mind. Don’t be in a rush when its over and just take your time. Allow your body the rest it deserves after a long yoga practice. Doing regular practices each day or a few times a week will not only get you closer to your goals but also result with a peaceful mind that will extend beyond the mat.
