It’s a well-known fact that Kylie Jenner has been rocking lip fillers for a few years now. She opened up in her own TV show about getting them done after she was self-conscious as a child about her “small lips” when a boy had made fun of them. But, her doctor claims that lip fillers and pregnancy just don’t mix. So – maybe Kylie isn’t pregnant, as she’s definitely still rocking some bigger lips.
Dr. Simon Ourian told Page Six:
I recommend that women stop getting lip fillers as soon as they learn they are pregnant. No one knows the implications of lip fillers on pregnant patients since dermal fillers haven’t been tested on pregnant women.
If a woman receives lip fillers before becoming pregnant, the results can last several months into her pregnancy, especially if she received one of the newer longer-lasting fillers. Additionally, many women experience naturally increased lip size during pregnancy due to increased levels of estrogen, blood flow, fluids, and swelling caused by pregnancy, regardless of whether they ever received lip fillers previously.
I would never knowingly administer lip injections to a pregnant patient. In fact, it is my policy not to perform any procedures at all on pregnant women.
Would Kylie be willing to give up her lip fillers and plastic surgery procedures to have a baby? We’re unsure, but, if she is pregnant – her old lips may be making a solid comeback.
