Eyebrows seem to be the latest asset that makeup artists love playing around with. We’ve seen some pretty wild ways to decorate the hairy lines above our eyes – and some of them are pretty insane. Who can forget “squiggle eyebrows” and how uncomfortable they made everyone? Well, grab hold of your seats because this new trend is shocking (pun intended).
I present to you the Lightning Bolt Brows.
Because only a person as cool as Zakia Wahbi, an Instagram makeup guru, could pull this look off. The cosmetics world never fails to amuse us when it comes to coming up with the most ungodly looks and as if we weren’t getting enough of the “squiggly brows” or “braided brows” phase, we get the lightning bolt era. It’s like combining Harry Potter and Clueless all in one.
Zakia mentions that to perfectly achieve those “bolt” brows she used Anastasia’s Dip Brow pomade, but I’m pretty sure you can mimic this look with just about any eyebrow product. The trick is in the actual shape of the brow in which you have to accurately draw the tip as a bolt like a figure.
