This “Game of Thrones” Theory May Reveal How Cersei Will Finally Die

WARNING: THIS TEXT CONTAINS SPOILERS.

With any show that’s a viral sensation like Game of Thrones, it’s only natural that fans will come up with theories online and look into things deeper than what meets the eye. It takes hours of rewatching, understanding and really paying attention to detail to come up with some thoughts and theories that sound – well, pretty f*cking accurate. If you read the books, even better.

When it comes to characters in the show, Game of Thrones never holds back from killing literally everyone. But, of course, we’re still left with Cersei and her horrible shame-shave haircut that really, makes my eyes burn. Besides the fact that she sleeps with her brother – vomit – she’s also a heartless, evil b*tch and I wish they would just kill her off already.

But – we may be closer to Cersei’s death come this season, and fans everywhere are rejoicing. Why? Because the Season 7 premiere of Game of Thrones gave us some major hints as to what may happen to Cersei – aka the “Why Can’t You Just Die Already,” Queen.

Think back long and hard on all the times we’ve seen Cersei be an evil, horrible human being – I know, there’s a lot of ground to cover. But, in Season 5, we saw Baby Cersei – who, happened to still be an evil, horrible human being even at such a young age (God, who raised this b*tch?)

In the flashback, Cersei visited “Maggy the Frog” who she happened to call “boring,” because – f*ck you Baby Cersei. Maggy read Baby Cersei her future, after she demanded it of course – much like adult Cersei would. And, what Maggy had to say was all too telling.

Not only did Maggy predict that Cersei would be queen one day, but someone younger and more beautiful would take her place (hint, hint, Margaery Tyrell). Maggy also promised that the king whom Cersei would eventually marry would have 20 children (because we all know Robert couldn’t keep it in his pants) but, Cersei would only have 3 children – which confused Baby Cersei. I guess she didn’t know back then that she’d be f*cking her damn brother.

Now – if you’ve only seen Game of Thrones on TV and never read the books – you won’t know this bit of info: Maggy also revealed how Cersei would die.

*SPOILER ALERT*

That’s right.

Ding, dong, the witch will finally die.

In the books, Maggy explains to Baby Cersei that her fate will come at the hands of a “valonqar, who will wrap his hands about her pale white throat and choke the life from her.”A harsh end for a harsh woman – I like the way George R.R. Martin thinks (sometimes).

Doing your research, you’ll learn that Valonqar is a Valyrian word – the Targaryens’ language – which means “little brother.” Now, ever wonder why Cersei hated Tyrion so much? Because she’s scared he’ll kill her – especially, after he killed their father.

BUT – WAIT, there’s more.

Guess who’s also Cersei’s little brother?

Yes – you guessed right. Her king slayer brother/lover/baby daddy/one-handed nuisance – Jamie.

As the theory goes, since Jamie is also younger than Cersei (they’re twins, but she was born first), he could very much be the valonqar Maggy was talking about.

And, on the Season 7 premiere, there was a subtle little hint that Jamie very well may be “The One.”

In this photo, Cersei is standing on a map of Westeros – on an area known as the “neck.” Jamie, on the other hand, is standing on the section known as the “fingers.” Think about it – neck, fingers, chocking, hands. Can you imagine a better ending to their sick, twisted love story?!? I sure can’t.

Not only would it be the ultimate betrayal – being killed by your brother/incest lover/baby daddy – but it would also make Jamie not only a king slayer, but a queen slayer as well.

Epic way to go out.

Please let this be real – my wildest, wildest dreams come true.
