While we’re always trying to tell ourselves we don’t need more – it can, in fact, be good for your health. Doctors are now reporting that eating more guacamole can be good for you due to its main ingredient – avocado.
Avocados are great for a number of things, according to Kristin Kirkpatrick of the Cleveland Clinic.
Apparently, the “good fat” that is present in avocados “help with longevity and reduction of heart disease.” The more you let the avocados ripen, the more antioxidants they release.
So, if you needed a reason to convince your boyfriend to get an extra order of chips and guac – just remind him that you’re looking out for his health.
