When something weird shows up on social media–stuff that’s kind of gross and cringe-worthy–we’re always into it. The people of the Internet are strange birds (myself included) and we can’t help but want to see the weird, crazy stuff that people do in their everyday lives. Look at how many people watch blackheads and pimples being popped on a regular basis (sorry, still can’t get behind that). Somehow some way, crazy trends and videos of them get millions and millions of views–often times more than videos of celebrities doing…nothing…get.
Just think about it, how many people watched videos of Dr. Pimple Popper? Or Salt Bae? Squiggle eyebrows/lips? A lot of people. But, there’s nothing quite like watching a man get his back hair “transformed” via blowout at a salon…right?
A Turkish barber’s video is going viral with over 1.6 million views because–who doesn’t want to see a hairy back? And chest?
I don’t know–sometimes, I have to shake my head at everyone on the Internet.
