Everyone was doing their best to get Emilia Clarke to drop hints about the season arriving sometime in 2019. After almost a decade the actress is a pro at making sure she doesn’t share any Westeros related details. However, Emilia did share with us a little story about the first time that she had read the ending of season 8. Her reaction the end of season 8 has us even more excited than before! Clarke briefly discussed what the fans are in store for during the upcoming season without giving away too many details.
Okay, so I read the scripts this season, and I, in some kind of a daze, walked out of my house. The only thing I took was my keys, and about three hours later I arrived back home, and I still hadn’t taken it all in… I don’t know if anyone’s ready. I don’t know if TVs are ready.

It’s an absolutely incredible ending. Now that the everything is left in the writer’s hands and they don’t have George R. R. Martin’s books to use as a guideline fans have been extremely nervous about the show wrapping up.
