Time’s Up.
It’s nice to see a group of influential people putting a focus on such a horrifying lifestyle that seems to be synonymous with the entertainment industry. These sexual assaults are a horrific reality, so many people from all walks of life have to face. Hopefully, these are steps in the right direction to making the changes that are needed. People need to understand the severity and frequency these sexual assaults happen and it needs to stop.
Due to some of Bella’s antics, it’s no secret she’s not everybody’s cup of tea. None of that takes any validity away from her story. Although dealing with the internet ensures haters and trolls Bella seemed to handle them pretty well

What did Disney do to this girl?! I think she was molested

Yeah I was. So it wasn't Disney https://t.co/rXasG4pqov

The world can be a sick place sometimes :/

That’s precisely one of the reasons victims don’t speak out about their experiences. The amount of hate on Bella’s Twitter about her claim was unbelievable! Although, most of Twitter was thankful for Bella’s brave posts and let her know how appreciative they are that she decided to share her experiences.
Thank you for making me feel less alone

I am so sorry that happened to you. I believe you. Not a second of that was your fault.
I hope you are able to heal in time. Trauma counseling can help a lot!!!

You're very strong and amazing for sharing some of your stories. I need you to know that what you say and share is important. I was sexually assaulted and abused growing up and knowing what someone I look up to has gone through it also makes me feel less alone.

No person—let alone a young child—should ever face this abusive nightmare, Bella. Years ago, while sitting and talking with my first serious girlfriend in the car, she shared a similar story. It was heartbreaking, but we told her family and the healing began. ? #TimesUp #MeToo
