Bella Thorne Tweeted That She Was Sexually Assaulted

Bella Thorne has always been an actress and model who is extremely open and candid about her personal life. In numerous interviews, she explains that sharing her problems with the world is a way to help other young girls and women feel as though they are not alone. She’s opened up about being bullied as a child and the negativity she feels towards social media and the way it controls girl’s lives and their self-worth.

I specifically asked for no re touching on this photo, and lemme tell you I have insecurities, about pretty much everything. That's natural & that's human. You might look at this photo and think oh shush bella, but just know everytime someone looks in the mirror they simply don't see what everyone else sees. Know that it's completely normal to feel insecure and it's accepted. honestly I wish everyone talked more about their insecurities so more people in the world could know they aren't alone. That it's ok. As a public persona you know naturally that everytime you shoot with a magazine there is always small retouching. Cuz yeah if they show my acne scars or a wrinkle in my forehead or my teeth aren't perfectly white, people will look at the photo and say no she's not perfect and usually most people don't want the public trashing and I get it, But fuck it I'm here to tell you that's right I'm not FUCKING PERFECT. IM A HUMAN BEING AND IM REAL. So hip hop your asses over the fence and GET OVER IT. @gqmexico #bellathorneGQ

Recently, on Twitter, she shared a photo of herself in a suit that she clearly loves, but without a shirt underneath. If you follow Bella Thorne on social media, it’s not all that crazy to see Thorne going “somewhat topless.” She’s embraced her body in ways that she hopes will inspire others to do the same

But, someone on Twitter answered pretty aggressively saying:

For years, people have assumed that Disney has been the reason for the majority of child star’s downfalls. Many actors who were working with The Disney Channel have had some unfortunate run-ins with drugs, mental health struggles, and even arrests. And, while the pressure of being a child star is pretty grave, it’s not fair to call people out on things we know nothing about. How dare someone just assume another person was sexually assaulted. Because at the end of the day, you never know what battles people are fighting.

Thorne was quick to respond saying, she was actually molested.

Fans of Thornes on Twitter were quick to share their positive thoughts and reactions to their girl, because at the end of the day – no one deserves to be sexually assaulted or molested.
