This Girl Has To Wear A Christmas Tree Costume Everyday For The Rest Of The Semester After One Huge Twitter Mistake

Some people will do just about anything to go viral online. You know the type, trying to figure out a funny and creative way to get people to retweet them or like their post enough for some like myself to pick it up and write an article about it. Kelsey Hall from the University of Alabama, hats off to you because – mission accomplished. 22-year-old Hall decided that it would be a good idea to throw Twitter a bit of a challenge this holiday season by seeing how many of them wanted to ruin her year. She posted a photo of herself in a Christmas tree costume, claiming that if she got 1,000 retweets, she’d wear the costume to school every single day for the rest of the semester. Honestly, Hall should have known this was going to turn out to be an absolute sh*t storm, Twitter is made to expose and humiliate people. She should have known damn well that she would have racked up more than 1,000 retweets.

Twitter users were glad to remind her that she made an awful, awful choice.

After seeing that she got over 23,000 retweets, she clearly regretted it.

And, she even proved she was going through with her end of the deal.
