Ed Sheeran’s Dropping A New Duet With Beyoncé And Fans Have Mixed Feelings

Ed Sheeran dropped a pretty incredible album this year and if you haven’t heard it yet, it’s worth the listen. The album, titled “Divide,” features a mix of different types of Sheeran songs – from the kind of songs you’d slow dance with your significant other to, all the way to some pretty upbeat jams (including the viral single “Shape of You”). But, one song on the album is getting an entirely new look, as Sheeran announced he’d be teaming up with the Queen herself. You know I’m obviously talking about Queen B – Beyoncé. Sheeran announced on Instagram that at 7 P.M. on Thursday, the new version of his hit single “Perfect,” featuring Bey will be available.

Got Beyoncé to duet with me on Perfect, comes out today at 7pm ET / 4pm PT / midnight GMT x

“Perfect” is one of the most romantic songs off of Sheeran’s album – the kind of song you’d want to dance to at your wedding. One can only imagine that adding Beyoncé to the mix will leave a tear or two running down listener’s faces. Honestly, I love “Perfect.” I literally cry whenever it comes on the radio while I’m driving because I picture my wedding that will probably never happen – it’s one of those songs. And, if I’m being blunt, I think Beyoncé will ruin it. It’s pretty “Perfect,” without her (brb while I swat away the Beehive). And, some people agree with me.
