4. Your petty, but amazing friends.
High school all the way through college is a constant battle of finding people who truly are good friends and not ones that use or sabotage you. By the time you reach your 20’s, the filtering through friends to find ones that are not toxic to your life comes to an end, and that is something to be forever thankful for. You may have had a huge group beforehand, but now you’re left with the real winners. Even though they can be savage and petty and roast you in your group chats on a regular basis, it’s important to be thankful for them and show them how much you care.
5. Those awful pictures of you that keep appearing on your “On This Day” on Facebook.
Okay, so anyone who says they hate those embarrassing throwback photos and posts on Facebook are lying to you. You should be thankful that you’re able to look back and see what kind of chaos you were causing as a pre-teen/teen. Plus, you can look back and see all of your friends and yourself when you were itty bitty babes. It’s always nice to get a bit of nostalgia every now and again. Just, make sure you delete those underage drinking pics.
6. All the drama you’ve been through.
By the time you’re in your 20’s, you’ve seen your fair share of drama and you’ve probably been in a lot of “soap opera” worthy fights. Over the years, you grow a thicker skin and a stronger backbone. You should be thankful for all of the fights and drama you had growing up because it’s made you a stronger fighter today.
