It’s no secret that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expecting baby number three pretty soon. While Kim Kardashian has been very open about wanting more children, she has also been open about her struggles with pregnancy and the fact that she couldn’t go through another natural pregnancy without risking her life. Instead of doing this, Kim and Kanye decided to hire a surrogate to have their third child. So far, according to reports, everything has been going very well. Apparently, both Kim and Kanye check in regularly with the surrogate, but they don’t suffocate her – how nice.
But, what fans are really interested in is the gender. Of course, Kim has one girl and one boy already – so, fans were curious to see what she would have next. And, of course, what crazy name Kim and Kanye were going to name their third child. While Kim and her family usually keep things under the radar until it appears on their reality TV show, “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” Kim accidentally revealed the gender of baby number three on “Ellen” this week. Kim was doing an interview on the show when she decided to share a pretty sweet story about her two kids, North and Saint, and how they feel about another sibling coming into the world. Kim revealed that North was pretty excited for a “baby sister” because that meant there would be more toys for her to play with. Kim also said she threw the baby shower just so that she could get her kids more excited about the process.
We had a baby shower over the weekend. I thought, ‘I really do want to have a baby shower because I want her to feel that something’s coming and for her to really understand it. People brought toys and gifts. She was opening them all up the next day and she said, ‘Mom, Baby Sister’s not here. I think I need all of her toys in my room. I’ll play with them and just make sure they’re OK for Baby Sister.’
Ellen, of course, was quick to point out that Kim basically revealed she was having a girl – and Kim confirmed it.
Yes, it is [a girl]. North is really excited about that. She’s so excited. Let’s see if it lasts. I did explain to her, ‘OK, at 4:00 in the morning, when you come in my room, I’m going to have to be with Baby Sister—I have to feed her.’ We’ll see how it goes.
Oopsy, Kim. Next time you better practice what stories you’ll be sharing on national television if you don’t want fans to know. But, she did also admit that she is open to “name suggestions” and that Kim and Kanye both are freaking out about not having a name yet. But, North has a pretty good idea of what to name her – Star West.
You know what’s so funny? I’m not going to name her Star, but my daughter picks that name all the time. So, she got a toy and it’s a llama — Baby Sister’s toy that she took — and I said, ‘Well, OK, what do you want to name the llama?’ She said, ‘Star—Star West!’ So, she names everything Star West.
