Jenna Dewan Tatum Proves She Couldn’t Care Less About The Mommy-Shamers

Jenna Dewan Tatum is the latest in a long long line of celebrity moms to be called out for being a “bad” mom for reasons unrelated to parenthood. The professional dancer posted a sexy selfie to her Instagram last Wednesday in which she dons knee-high boots and a black lace onesie.

Her caption reads: “Only @jlo can make a girl drop everything, put her favorite bodysuit on and take a spontaneous random picture in her closet using Kira Kira. I love these boots woman thank you! (Also – yes my closet is a mess. It generally is).”

And WOW you’d be surprised at how many people (including moms!) A) have the time to hate on celebrity social media accounts and B) actually believe a woman’s capacity to be a good mother while owning her sexuality are somehow at odds with one another. What a weird world we live in.

“Unfollowing. She’s a mother. No need for these posts,” one woman wrote, because once you become a mother you are to wear a trash bag for eternity as every good mother knows. “You can take the whores out if the house but once a whore always one” writes another lovely lady, whose literal bio reads “Lyme disease. Wish it was cancer at least there was hope,” WOW y’all are hella dark on these social medias. “Whatever, you are super vain, and uber in love with yourself. Quit trying to be selfless” writes a third Instagrammer, who from the bio pic appears to be a preteen. A preteen calling anyone super vain is hysterical to begin with, but I digress.

Most of the comments were supportive. This one especially resonates: “If it was her husband posting a picture in his boxers you would all be salivating. The hateful comments on here are mind boggling.” If our girl Jenna cared about all the hate, it would be one thing. But if her current and past posts are any indication, she gives zero f*cks.
