6. Work it out, girl.
Think of the person you want to curse out and bring it full-frontal in the gym. Take classes like kickboxing to get that anger out. Use all of your energy to give you some major force in the gym or a class. And, when all else fails, calm yourself down with some yoga.
7. Put on music and rage.
Turn off your emotions and turn on some music. Not only will music help but it can take you to your “happy place.” Put on some of your favorite artists or, try some seriously raging music to rage out to. Linkin Park always works wonders when you want to rip someone’s head off.
8. Read a book and “travel” to a new world.
Yeah, this might not sound too exciting but reading can help take your mind off the situation and turn your thoughts to what is going on in the book. Plus, you can get out of your own head and into someone else’s.
9. Find a safe haven.
Go to the spot where you can just relax and think. It doesn’t matter where this place is. It could be your house, your favorite restaurant, outside, the beach, where ever. Just pick a place that you think is relaxing and where you can calm your nerves. Walk there, sit there, do whatever you want that will make you “Namaste.”
10. Seek advice or help to manage your anger.
Go to someone you can trust and talk to about your problems. Go to a family member, your best friend, even a counsellor/therapist. If your anger is getting out of control, it’s important to know when you need help and guidance. These people can help you and make you face your problems you may not have known you had.
