4. Are you a cat person or a dog person?
Important! So important! While it seems to be a small, simple question – it tells a lot about a person if they’re into cats or dogs. Dog people are fun and adventurous, while cat people are mostly independent. Plus, if you’re allergic to cats and your date has a cat – that is going to make for some awkward next few dates (who wants to go up for a “nightcap” and then break out in hives?)
5. What’s the last good book you read?
I always want to date someone who likes to read. Reading is a hobby of mine – so, I’d like someone I date to share similar hobbies and interests with me. Plus, you can tell a lot about a person by what or who they like to read. If someone doesn’t read – that’s a turn-off to me. Some people may disagree, but it’s still nice to know what genres they’re interested in – sometimes, they can surprise you.
6. Do you have any siblings?
Obviously, if a person has siblings (and where they fall in the sibling roster) can tell you a lot about them. I come from a family of three girls – and I’m the youngest – so, people get to know a lot about me just by that simple fact. People know I’m going to be funny, a bit of a dare-devil (because I get away with everything) and much more mature for my age, having two older sisters to show me the ropes. And, if someone’s an only child – well, that says a lot about them too. They’re independent, sometimes spoiled and often have many, many close friends.
