For the last several years, people have been watching the downward spiral of a child actress we were all obsessed with – Amanda Bynes.
On Twitter, for the entire world to see, Amanda Bynes broke down, showing the world what it’s truly like to suffer in the well-known “child star” downfall. So often, we see young stars break down and struggle as they get older – like Britney Spears and Aaron Carter have over the years.
After hiding for the last few years and taking time for herself, Amanda Bynes did her first on-camera interview in over four years and cleared the air for us all. She also told everyone what her big plans are for her future and that we may see her on TV again really son (YES!)
Her tweet that really started the entire “Amanda Bynes” Twitter campaign was this special tweet about rapper Drake:
When asked about the specific tweet, she was full-on honest.
“I actually wasn’t being insincere. I was serious but I was also on drugs. That was my way of saying, let’s do it man! I was on drugs and trying to be hilarious.”
She also said that many of her problems and issues that she endured (arrests and legal trouble) all had to do with her drug use. But, she is now three years clean and has big plans for the future.
“I’m going to start acting again. I wanna do TV, do a few guest spots of some shows that I am a fan of, and maybe a TV show where I’m the star of it in the future. That’s what I hope.”
Bynes also went to school for fashion and has a plan to start her own clothing line in the next few years.
Twitter has been celebrating her comeback and cannot stop sharing the love.

Dude Amanda Bynes looks and sounds so happy. I also love how she can joke about her past with a smile on her face. This is such a good day.
