Snapchat’s New Feature Means Your Pics Can Now Last Forever

So, think before you snap some nudes.

Today, every social media app is trying to be “the best of the best.” It seems as though the most popular ones – Snapchat, Facebook, Instagram – all have the same features as each other now, as they battle it out to be number one. You can now post “stories,” not only on Snapchat, but also Facebook and Instagram – so what’s the point of having all three? I mean, do we really need to stalk each other on that many platforms?

Now, Snapchat is making some major changes to their app that you might want to take notice of. Usually, everyone enjoys Snapchat because your posts come and go in 1-10 seconds – which means you can send super embarrassing things and not worry about them coming back to bite you in the ass (unless someone screenshots you, like a savage).

But, now, Snapchat is offering the feature to users to watch a video or look at a photo forever – calling it the “infinity feature.” Basically, if you choose the infinity feature, your photo will be available to the person for way longer than 10 seconds. But, once they close the video or photo, it’s gone – like the good ol’ days.

So, the next time you’re planning on sending a nude on Snapchat – or even something slightly embarrassing – I’d bare careful of the time you choose, because that may last f-o-r-e-v-e-r.
