“Hey, That’s Mean!”—Kim Kardashian’s Daughter Calls Her Out For Complaining About Kids On Instagram

Working at home and watching a toddler during a pandemic means you get interrupted a lot. My son loves to walk over to my laptop, shut it, say “bye,” and then try to get me to pay attention to him.

“Mommy’s working,” I say, but he doesn’t care. And why should he? It’s fun to have Mommy at your beck and call.

Even Kim Kardashian-West is learning a little bit about working from home with needy children. The reality TV star recently posted a video to her Instagram account in which she attempts to “work,” (she’s really doing a makeup tutorial, but I guess that’s work in Kardashian land) but her daughter North keeps busting into the bathroom and demanding attention. It’s kind of adorable.

Kim’s patience being tested is very relatable as six-year-old North jumps up on the toilet and runs around the bathroom babbling. Kim admits to the camera, “I’m hiding in the guest room, you guys. I’m hiding in the guest room because my kids will not leave me alone.” North then overhears Kim’s confession and calls out her Mom, saying, “hey, that’s mean!”

Kim continues to be frustrated. “North, can I please just do my little tutorial? It’s all I want to do, is one little fun thing for myself,” she pleads.

Kim recently explained on The View that being at home with her four children had changed her perspective on reproducing.

“Being at home with four kids…if I ever thought for a minute that I wanted another one—that is out the door. It’s really tough. Really tough.”
