My (now ex) girlfriend knew I was a big fan of Muse and also knew I couldn’t afford their latest album. I woke up one morning to a text from her saying “Check your mailbox.” The CD was in there with a note saying “Because there’s no one like you in the universe. I love you.” I almost cried.

One thing surprisingly was being given a bouquet of roses. It wasn’t from a SO but from a friend and I who shared a mutual feeling of attraction. It shocked me to say the least, as no one had ever done that before.(Wait…roses? For me?) The ballsiness combined with the uniqueness of the gift was just as awesome as me trying to decipher my feelings toward my gift/what just happened. It was so sweet of her. I now know on some level how a woman feels when I do this.
