Bride-To-Be Brutally Mocked Online For Her ‘Tiny’ $132 Engagement Ring

When it comes to engagement rings, women are always thinking “the bigger, the better.” But, in all reality, not every woman wants to walk around with a rock on her finger every day. In fact, there are some women out there who are pleased and satisfied with a minimal engagement ring—knowing it’s the thought and love behind the ring that truly counts.

However, not all women see it this way.

Recently, a bride-to-be was brutally mocked online after deciding to show off her new engagement ring. The $132 ring is a 14-karat gold band with a single diamond—sold on Etsy and called a “Minimalist band.”

The bride-to-be posted it online saying:

My bf and I ordered my ring online and I am in LOVE with it!

And, while this woman loved her ring, and was super pleased with it, the pool of Internet haters came at her full-force.

People began commenting on the post, dragging the ring into the seventh circle of Hell. One person commented:

“Why even bother having a diamond there.”

Another person added:

“So take that keyring off your finger and show us the ring you ordered online.”

Another user chimed in saying:

“It’s so pitiful, I just can’t. It’s too sad.”

“I have assembled my colleagues of world class physicists and astronomers, we are building new instrumentation so we can see your f****** ring,” someone else added.

And, then, one person simply said:

“Why bother?”

Clearly, some people are too stuck up for their own good—needing to have lavish luxuries to prove the “love” between them and their partner. But, if you’re asking me, the minimalist ring is adorable.
