Bill Cosby Was Found Guilty Of Rape Charges And Twitter Is Bringing Kanye West Into It

Bill Cosby has been found guilty of sexual assault by a Philadelphia jury after 14 hours of deliberation.

This is the second trial Cosby has faced on the charges of “aggravated indecent assault” against Andrea Constand in 2004. The previous trial last summer was ruled a “mistrial.”

The 80-year-old comedian now faces up to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $25,000 on each count of assault.

Cosby has been in the media spotlight after numerous women have come forward, speaking of sexual assault and allegations that go as far back as decades. Cosby has, however, ruled the majority these allegations as “consensual.”

This specific incident was one against 45-year-old Andrea Constand who testified that Cosby had drugged and sexually assaulted her in January 2004 in his home.

After the jury’s verdict announcement, it was an emotional moment for Constand and others, who finally received some form of justice for Cosby’s wrongdoings.

After the news broke on Twitter, many people were bringing Kanye West into the conversation. The rapper, who has been tweeting up a storm on the social media app–praising Donald Trump and other conservatives–has spoken out in the past about his belief that Cosby was innocent in February 2016. Now, along with his MAGA-support, fans and followers are calling him out for supporting yet another person who sexually assaults women.
