“He wasn’t really a stalker. He’s just this guy who has a lot of people’s numbers. He must’ve worked at a studio,” Stone clarified. “And he texts and he says, ‘Hey, Alex.’ Or he makes up a name. ‘I’m running late on my way to the sound stage. Can you warm up the orchestra for me? Can you text me back and let me know you got this? John.’”
“So then we were finally going to meet. She sends me her address, I drive over, and on the way over I’m like ‘Oh my God, what if this is John the Orchestra Guy,’” Jennifer recalled. “We had never spoken on the phone we just trusted it was each other,” Emma added, while admitting she too was worried John the Orchestra Guy was on his way to see her. So Jennifer called Emma, they cleared it up, and became best friends forever.
But that’s just part of this absolutely amazing and hilarious interview. There’s also Jennifer Lawrence telling a story about dressing up as a picnic table on Halloween and talking to her crush John:
And her fear of flying after a double engine failure mishap:
Whereas Emma’s scariest moment was the time both her contacts popped out of her eyes during a performance of Cabaret because “[her] eyes are too big.” Lawrence was there and thought the performance was incredible, while Stone began crying in her dressing room because she thought it was awful:
Oh yeah, also they were making paper animals the entire time:
“Do you understand that spending time with us is just us sitting and screaming at each other?” asked Stone at the end of the interview.
“We just scream at each other. We’re both hoarse after we hang out — us, oh my God. I can’t imagine what it must be like for other people. We should never hang out, only with each other,” replied Lawrence. “God, I’m like already exhausted. It’s so fun.”
