Some fans took to Twitter to share their excitement. Sia has always been the lipstick queen, as her blunt bangs have usually covered her eyes in order to focus attention on her lips and voice.
This #WorldAIDSDay, Sia's working w/ @MACcosmetics for their #VIVAGLAM campaign & releasing her own lipstick (which will be available in early Jan). Every single cent of the price of her lipstick goes towards the M·A·C AIDS Fund which helps people affected by HIV/AIDS. -Team Sia pic.twitter.com/VH2c0COUeO

Some fans are a bit disappointed, however, because they believe MAC tests their products on animals. Sia has long been a supporter of animals and has been extremely outspoken against animal testing/cruelty towards animals. Knowing this, fans were upset to hear Sia would support a company that goes against her morals.
No Sia!!! They test on animals!

Sia how could you? They test on animals. So so so disappointed.
— Kristen Madison ?? (@KristenMadisonM) November 30, 2017
Don’t MAC do animal testing? i’m not 100% sure but ask them because you’re a huge animal lover and i’d hate for you to promote something you’re against unknowingly
— Thomas (@SirSiberia) November 30, 2017
Please don't let them sell it in China, they test on animals
— David (@MrDavidMonteith) December 1, 2017
Oh my god, it’s a great cause to support HIV/AIDS but I could never buy from MAC when they test on animals ?????

However, Sia spoke out on Twitter after receiving backlash and assured her fans that no animal testing would be happening with her product or with any other MAC products.
Like M·A·C, I believe makeup shouldn’t be tested on animals. M·A·C does not test on animals and is advocating change in countries like China where animal testing exists. For more info, read here: https://t.co/KplrHIvkpG
