If you have yet to try LUSH cosmetics, you need to get on that. LUSH is famous for its bath bombs and other beauty and skincare items. During the holiday season, a new holiday-themed bath bomb is released every year. If you’re not sure what a bath bomb is, allow me to introduce you. Besides being super good for your skin, bath bombs are fun AF to look at in the tub.
This 2017 season’s holiday bath bomb is called the Luxury Lush Pud and it has gone viral on the internet. It features lavender fragrance which is present in the Sleepy Time Lotion that has also gone viral on the internet a few weeks ago, as well. So what is it about this bath bomb that makes it so special? The lavender, of course. The rich and creamy lavender scent does wonders for your skin and it will have you sleeping like a baby in your bathtub.
Yes, that kinda seems dangerous, and a bit of an exaggeration; but I’m serious. The Luxury Lush Pud will have you feeling relaxed and so at ease in the tub. The official product description on LUSH Cosmetic’s website says:
“Catch 40 winks on Christmas Eve with islands of sleepy foam and comforting lavender. Creamy benzoin resinoid soothes and protects chapped, dry skin, while the reassuring scent of lavender oil and sweet, warm tonka absolute banishes tension and aids relaxation. It’s the perfect bedtime soother for excited children and grown-ups alike.”
The bath bomb itself sells for $7.95 at LUSH Cosmetic stores and online. The top half is a rich snow white color with circle wafers of color, topped with a dainty holly leaf. The bottom half is a bold pink. I am always skeptical when trying a bath bomb about how the presentation of it will look in the tub. LUSH Cosmetic’s website provides videos of how gorgeous your tub will look when you drop a bomb inside, however, more often than not my tub just looks like a unicorn took a pee in it (wish I was kidding about this, but I’m not).
The unicorn taking a pee in my tub so was not the case with the Luxury Lush bomb. My bath water actually looked gorgeous for once. It was cotton candy pink with perfect swirls of yellow, blue and green throughout.
My only complaint is that I forgot this was supposed to be a holiday-themed bath bomb as I watched the pink, blue, yellow and green swirl together. Not exactly holiday themed colors but it will still do.
Within seconds of the bath bomb plunging into the tub, my entire bathroom became submerged with the scent of oh so relaxing lavender. I actually wanted to fall asleep right there on the bathroom floor. I let the bomb dissolve completely and at this point, I was rubbing my eyes and ready for nap time like a little baby. I stepped into the tub and instantly felt silky smoothness on my legs. It was pure heaven.
I have never used a bath bomb that felt so significantly good on my skin like this one. It really is a Christmas miracle. Within ten minutes of laying there in silky, lavender, goodness. I felt the most relaxed I have ever felt in years. Another ten minutes was all I lasted before my head was falling back and my eyes were closing. 100% this bath bomb will make you fall asleep, but it is 100% worth the buy and so much better than any therapy session.
