But, this year, Forbes released the ranking of 2017’s top-earning models and the world’s highest paid model may surprise you.
Gisele Bündchen has apparently held the title of world’s highest paid model since the list began in Forbes back in 2002. But, Jenner has officially beat Bündchen out of the title this time. According to reports, it turns out that Kendall’s paycheck from her reality TV show with her family, endorsement deals and even cosmetics contracts are behind just how she claimed the top spot – earning a reported $22 million this year alone.
Kendall Jenner, one of the youngest of the Kardashian/Jenner clan, has always dreamt of being a runway model. From her days as a pre-teen, she begged her parents to let her work with experts and mentors to perfect her walk, look and style. Since then, she’s walked in top designer’s shows such as Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, and Versace.
While it seems like good press, Bündchen actually said that being number one on the list has hurt her over the past several years.
