Charles Manson, the mass murderer and cult leader, has officially died at the age of 83-years-old. Manson was known in the 1960’s for creating an “army of killers” known as the “Manson Family” who would commit outrageous acts of violence – most notably the 1969 murder of actress Sharon Tate. Officials say Manson died of “natural causes” while serving his life sentence in prison. Like any other time, there is a death in society, Twitter was obviously sharing their thoughts and opinions. A lot of users were confused as to why “RIP Charles Manson” was trending in the first place.
