There are few things in this world powerful enough to counteract the mutual air of despair pervading the world. In between our sexual predator president trying to antagonize North Korea into nuking us over Twitter, every celebrity we’ve ever known turning out to be a total pervert creep, and Meek Mill sitting in jail for popping wheelies on his dirt bike while the white police officers who shot 12-year-old Tamir Rice, 18-year-old Michael Brown, and 40-year-old Terence Crutcher, all stay chilling— In between all these injustices and the fact that it is nighttime at like 4:30 now— it’s hard to stay positive all the time.

BUT NOT IMPOSSIBLE. And if anything can prove that, it’s a video of this teeny tiny smol baby lion which surfaced on Twitter the other day. This little Simba is just learning to roar and it is so heartbreakingly pure it’s difficult to put it into words.
