If your friend is seeing someone that you’re having That’s So Raven visions about and can foresee that person to be absolutely awful, cue yo gurl in. Maybe she’s not as a good of a person reader as you are. Express your feelings about the potential mate.
7. Thou does not involve themselves with their friend’s ex.
Hooking up with your friend’s ex is an egregious sin – that should be obvious. But even involving oneself with the ex, such as hanging out, or talking to the ex is also murky water. Sometimes when a couple breaks up, it’s hard because everyone was friends with everyone. Boo hoo. If she’s your girl, you avoid that ex like the plague, at least until time has healed all wounds.
8. Thou does not joke around with a friend if she’s eating/drinking too much or too little, or possibly dealing with mental illness.
Ladies, we all deal with personal problems. If you see your friend might be struggling with something, don’t make her feel bad if you’re out with a group of friends by calling her out. If the problem is consistent. you gotta help her, listen to her vent over text, ask her if something is bothering her. But don’t say things in public. Get her help and be there for her instead of airing her dirty laundry.
9. Thou does not ditch her friend for some d*ck.
If you’re in love with a guy, that’s great! But make sure you always make time for your friends and your SO. It’s tricky at times, but don’t abandon your friends just because this guy is SO great. Make time for everyone!
10. Thou does not abandon her friend, even when she is acting like a crazy b*tch.
If my friends abandoned me every time I had a melodramatic outburst, climbed up my ex’s fire escape, or did something crazy, I’d have no friends. If your friend is acting off the wall, you don’t pretend like you don’t know her. You stick through these confusing times with yo sista. Talk to her and try to understand what’s going on, don’t just ghost her like she’s not important.
