6. Coffee reduces depression and suicide risks.
A study showed that drinking between 2 to 4 cups of coffee can reduce the risk of suicide in men and women by 50%. The study said that coffee acts as a “mild antidepressant” by aiding the production of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, noradrenaline and dopamine.
7. Coffee also helps your liver.
Your liver loves this stuff. Not only does it lower the risk of developing liver cancer, but it helps with lowering the risk of developing cirrhosis. Scientists have found an inverse relationship with coffee and our blood levels of liver enzymes. Elevated liver enzymes reflect inflammation and damage to the liver. The more coffee that was consumed, the lower the levels of enzymes.
8. Coffee contains essential nutrients our bodies need.
Coffee actually contains a lot of great nutrients. A single cup of coffee has Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Pantothenic Acid (Vitamin B5), Manganese and Potassium, Magnesium and Niacin (B3).
9. Coffee is healthy for the heart.
Not only does it protect your liver but also your heart. Moderate coffee drinkers who consumed between 2 and 4 cups a day had a lower risk of heart disease compared to others who didn’t drink it.
10. Coffee makes you happy and less stressed.
Couldn’t have said this better myself. I know it makes me happy! Just the smell of it makes me happy. A study was done and found that those who drank four or more cups were 10 percent less likely to be depressed. The more coffee the better!
