The Boy Scouts are now going to include girls…. what is the Girl Scouts now gonna be used for?

The Girl Scouts was created two years after the Boy Scouts. Why did they Boy Scouts need to include the girls? Confusing to say the least.

Ew gross. Transmisic Boy Scouts willing to include girls— purely as a tactic to stem their drops in numbers. https://t.co/dgHnHte1gw

But others disagree:
Boy Scouts have made the decision to include girls who are more interested in stereotypical “boy stuff.” More choices for girls is a win!

Boy Scouts learning to exist w/girls will grow to have even greater character, making them fine men who respect women enough to include them

Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are two different orgs w/ two different approaches. Both are great, but I like that girls have a choice now.

I don't think harmful but participation at Boy Scouts will provide great opportunities for some girls searching for a different experience.

While I understand both sides – I am equally confused as to what the Girls Scouts will be utilized for if families decide to send their daughters to Boys Scouts now. I do believe it is vital to have young boys learn to respect and cooperate with girls – as we live in America and sexes are equal (or should be). I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this one plays out.
