If you’re feeling like it’s time to exit a conversation, here is an easy, and graceful way to leave the conversation. Before making your escape, be bold and say “I won’t keep you,” or “Give my regards to [mutual acquaintance].” A softer way to get out of any other conversation could be: ‘It’s nice talking to you, but I have to talk to someone before they leave,” or “I’m going to go mingle a bit more.” Need more help?
