Best:
1. Grey Worm & Missandei – Season 7, Episode 2:
This scene was one for the books. These two have been keeping their love inside of them like middle school children, giggling and locking eyes from across the lunchroom. They both are proper, polite and intelligent individuals – but the sex scene is one in GoT that isn’t just “sex.” It’s passionate and romantic and there is absolute love to be found between these two characters. Not to mention, Grey Worm is missing a vital piece of equipment and Missandei is still into him entirely. Swooning.
2. Robb Stark & Talisa – Season 3, Episode 7:
Robb Stark and Talisa were my favorite couple for such a long time. The two were wild, madly in love, despite what any one else had to say. Of course, this was when Game of Thrones was still savage AF and didn’t care who we got attached two – killing everyone in plain sight. Now, the show has turned into something much different, where we barely see any deaths. But, this couple’s death was so painful – especially after learning they were expecting a baby. You can feel the love within this sex scene and between these two, it’s a shame they had to go so soon.
3. Dany and Khal Drogo – Season 1, Episode 2:
Ok, so I’m not a huge fan of Dany and Drogo as a couple because he raped her and forced her into marriage beyond her choice. But, this sex scene in the show is a pivotal turning point in Dany’s storyline and empowerment. After dominating Drogo and seeing that she can control a man and can take her body and power back, Dany begins to change, transitioning into the powerful leader and woman she is in Season Seven. So, this is definitely one of the best, despite Drogo being who he is.
4. Jon Snow & Ygritte – Season 3, Episode 5:
The best Game of Thrones couple that surpassed the big screen and fell in love in real life. This scene was incredible for a number of reasons. First, they are so in love and they’re both not “lovey-dovey” people – so it’s romantic AF. Also, the water in the cave makes it super intimate. Plus, Ygritte talks about “that thing” Jon does with his mouth and – oh my God don’t even ask me how I’m feeling about that because it’s super, super inappropriate. Favorite. Sex. Scene. Ever.
5. Sam & Gilly – Season 5, Episode 7:
Sam is the character everyone is always rooting for – the underdog. The kid is loyal, smart and tries his hardest to do right by everyone. The two are so innocent and care about each other so much in the scene, that it makes sex look almost adorable. Sam losing his virginity is a huge deal to him and to us because he’s doing it with someone he loves. Plus, who can get over Sam saying “oh my” during sex? I can’t.
