In case you haven’t heard, Taylor Swift is coming out with a new album. Fans everywhere are losing their sh*t because the girl has been off her music game lately and, they want to hear more “comebacks” at ex-boyfriends and celebrity virals – because that’s really what Swift writes all her songs about anyway.
Do I really care that much? No, I’m not a huge Taylor Swift fan. But, after fans started saying that the album was a direct “F*ck You” to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, my attention was all in because I love me some celebrity drama.
Tay’s new album is titled “Reputation,” because – let’s just face it – she has a pretty crappy one at the moment. From serial dating to online bullying and wars with other celebrities, she hasn’t been projected in the most positive spotlight. But, now, she’s got herself into a whole other mess of drama with – Kanye West, yet again.
To catch you up:
Kanye West and Taylor Swift have been beefing since 2009 when he interrupted her VMA acceptance speech to say Beyoncé should have won her award. Every since then, it’s been an on again/off again feud with these two. Apparently, they had patched things up for a while and were getting along just fine, until Kanye West dropped his The Life of Pablo album in which he calls out Taylor in the song “Famous,” saying: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex, why? I made that b*tch famous.”
Taylor, of course, claimed she knew nothing about the song or the line and was “insulted and devastated” Kanye would speak of her in that manner. But, his wife, Kim Kardashian, wouldn’t let her husband’s name be tarnished and released video evidence that Taylor was down with the entire idea and song. Take that Swift.
While this all went down last year, Taylor has remained almost silent about the majority of it all until she started dropping “snake hints” about her new album. It makes sense because everyone who was all Team KimYe were calling Taylor a snake for the entire year. So, now, she’s embracing that sh*t for publicity and album sales – go. figure.
After dropping her album cover – fans went nuts with the Taylor Swift vs. Kanye West album cover similarities because come on, it’s obvious.

Is it just me, or does this kinda look like a slight rip off of the life of Pablo lol?

To me Taylor Swift's new album cover looks like she's trying to emulate the cover of Kanye West's album "Life of Pablo"

New Taylor Swift album has album art that is like if Lindsey Lohan's "Rumors" had a baby with "The Life of Pablo".

I guess your shade wasn’t that smooth, girl, because everyone is calling your bluff. But, lets see how the songs turn out – maybe we’ll get a direct Kanye dis in the form of a pop/country song. This I have to see.
