When you’re young and in love, most people will tell you that you have no idea what you’re talking about – because, you’re too young to feel “true love.” But, 19-year-olds Austin Wesson and Rebekah Bouma didn’t care what other people thought of their relationship. Last Friday, the two got married after meeting on a mission trip in South Africa in February.
But, just one day after their wedding, Austin and Rebekah were both in a tragic car accident when their pickup truck spun off the road and into a tree. Austin was declared dead at the scene and Rebekah was pronounced dead on Monday, after being treated at a nearby hospital.

The two planned to move to Grand, Rapids, Michigan and attend college together, after getting married. It’s a horrible, sad thing to happen to two young people, who had the rest of their lives ahead of them.
