Since giving birth to her son, Saint West, Kim Kardashian has been outspoken about wanting to have a third child with husband Kanye West. However, as she’s spoken about on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, doctors have warned Kim that her body cannot carry another child.
Kim Kardashian has a rare disorder called placenta accreta, which means carrying another child could be life-threatening. As jokes, everyone in her family has offered to carry her third child for her. But, she has never truly decided what she had wanted to do – until now.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have decided to have a third baby and use a surrogate through an agency – instead of letting Kourtney carry another baby. Don’t worry though, the surrogate process will have all of Kim’s Kardashian genes and Kanye’s talent involved – as they will be using Kim’s eggs and Kanye’s sperm.
According to TMZ, the woman who will carry the West baby will make a big, big pay day. Kim and Kanye will pay the surrogate mother $45,000 ($4,500 a month for 10 months). They also pay almost $69,000 to the agency as a deposit, to ensure they go through with everything.
As well, if Kim and Kanye decide to have any more children afterwards and use the same surrogate, she will make an additional $5,000 per child. Also, if anything happens to the surrogate during childbirth, she will be given $4,000.
Of course, there are strict rules during the pregnancy. TMZ reported that in their contract, Kim and Kanye told the surrogate she cannot drink, smoke, use drugs, use any saunas or hot tubs, eat raw fish, dye her hair or drink more then one caffeinated beverage per day.
Damn. That’s a lot.
But, of course, the surrogate is making a big salary – and, she can always tell people “I carried Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s baby.” What an ice breaker for a party, right?
