McDonald’s has decided to make a pretty awesome change – incorporating LGBTQ pride in their everyday products to celebrate pride month. With same sex marriage passing in the supreme court and everyone being hella accepting of “love,” in all shapes and sizes – one would think society would grow the f*ck up and get with the times.
But, of course, there are some people who still feel strongly homophobic and are complete and total assholes. Many people have spoken out against McDonald’s for their decision to incorporate LGBTQ culture in their food products.
But, McDonald’s has no time to deal with haters like this. They’re happy and proud to represent a group of people in America as important and equal.
Cathy Martin, co-chair of McDonald’s Pride Network said in a statement:
“The rainbow fry boxes are a fun way to show our support of the LGBTQ community using one of McDonald’s most iconic and recognizable items; however, these fry boxes are ‘small potatoes’ in the grand scheme of our commitment to this community.
We are proud to honor and celebrate the LGBTQ community, including our employees, customers and beyond, each and every day.”
Take that – homophobes. McDonald’s has absolutely no time to deal with ignorant minded people like you. Go somewhere else, with your negative vibes!
